January and February

Sabrina up to her own tricks.

Even though Sabrina isnt a teen, she got all dressed up her in oriental dress.

I forgot to flip the picture, but Sabrina is persistent enough to try to go through the chair whether it is up straight or sideways.

Sabrina loves cats. She was excited that this one would let Sabrina carry her around because Maggie the cat at home would never let her do that.

Sabrina enjoying being the baby in her own baby carriage.

You can bet this picture broke Grandma's heart.
Here is her innocent smile.

And then her not so innocent smile!

Sabrina loves water whether it is a swimming pool or bath time.
First trip to the zoo! Dad was jealous because he didn't get to go! Dani went with Marcia a lady from our church. Sabrina came home imitating the elephants by blowing.

Sabrina celebrated our 5th year anniversary with us.

The people from our church just love Sabrina. Here is a picture of Vitor showing her a bird. Sabrina already knows the word for chicken. So every bird is a chicken now.

Dani and I went out to eat for Easter, and the girls at the restaurant asked if they could paint a bunny face on Sabrina. We were wondering how Sabrina would act, but she was pretty serious as they painted her face, and I was actually fortunate to get the priceless smile on camera of her with her bunny face.
They are called coatimundos (coatis in portuguese). They are basically like a raccoon. They were going after the plastic rain coats we had as they think plastic bags might have food. Sabrina was a bit curious about them, too.

A big play house in one of the parks we visited during our 5th year annivesary.

She actually uses the glasses a lot more than I thought that she would. Oh, oh, fashion girl.
But to Dad, she is just his brown eyed girl.

She is growing all up, jean jackets already.
The stroller is bigger than she is, but Sabrina still is pretty determined.

Dani (taking the picture) and I and Krista (first seat) went to a theme park for a day. We got free tickets and took advantage it with our new pastor and his wife (third seat) and also a friend, Monica (last seat)

Ok, maybe the princess does have a little bit of tomboy in her, too.

Sabrina loves to play in the pool. It was the perfect place to be during the Christmas time as it was very hot at grandma's house here in Brazil.

Sabrina enjoyed playing with grandma's turtle. She is a little bit easier to catch than our cat, Maggie! :)
Back to being a princess, my first purse.

I heard some noise in the kitchen and walked in on this scene. You can do you own imagining, but although I may be a little biased. I am imagining the helpless missionary kid trying to defend herself from the bad pastor's kid.
Next year Sabrina will know what "real" snow looks like.

Sabrina's 1 year birthday party. We invited the three churches who prayed for here in Sorocaba to celebrate with us.

Sabrina enjoyed the big pool on her birthday. Her great-grandmother in the States sent her her first bathing suit to try out. My grandmother always was the one who took us swimming as kids at the lake right out behind her house.

Just goofing around.

Down for the count.

When things are quiet, you always go looking for what your kids got into. One quiet moment, Dani went to go find Sabrina playing in the shower. (Dani was filling up Sabrina's bathtub). Sabrina felt like she would take the bath by herself, clothes on and all!
Curiosity killed the scarecrow.
Go Red Sox! Sabrina likes playing with this baseball.

Sabrina reading the Christmas story.
